Keyboard shortcuts
Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the DocuBot dashboard and documentation sites more efficiently. These shortcuts help you find information and perform common actions without using a mouse.
Global navigation
The following shortcuts work across the entire documentation interface to help you locate content quickly.
| Action | macOS | Windows / Linux |
|---|---|---|
| Open search bar | Cmd + K | Ctrl + K |
| Close search bar | Esc | Esc |
| Navigate search results | Arrow keys | Arrow keys |
| Select search result | Enter | Enter |
Dashboard actions
While the DocuBot dashboard primarily uses standard web navigation, you can use these common patterns to manage your repositories and settings.
| Action | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Move focus to next element | Tab |
| Move focus to previous element | Shift + Tab |
| Activate button or link | Enter |
| Toggle checkboxes | Space |
| Submit forms (Save changes) | Enter (when focused on an input) |
Platform-specific notes
DocuBot automatically detects your operating system to provide the correct modifier keys in the interface.
- macOS: Uses the Command key (
Cmd) for most shortcuts. - Windows and Linux: Use the Control key (
Ctrl) for most shortcuts.
If a shortcut does not behave as expected, ensure your browser is not overriding the command with a built-in browser shortcut.
