Latest release

Version: [Current Version]
Date: [Release Date]

This release introduces significant enhancements to the documentation generation pipeline, including improved AI grounding and expanded export options.

New features

We’ve added several core capabilities to help you build better help centers:

  • AI-driven content generation: DocuBot now uses advanced Gemini models to analyze your code and generate structured documentation tailored to your specific audiences.
  • PDF documentation exports: You can now download a complete, bookmarked PDF version of your documentation site directly from the dashboard.
  • Interactive OpenAPI reference rendering: If your repository contains OpenAPI or Swagger specifications, DocuBot automatically generates interactive API references using a modern viewer.

Improvements

We’ve refined existing features to provide a smoother experience:

  • Static site generation speed: We optimized the build process to reduce the time it takes to publish your documentation after a sync.
  • Search optimization: Documentation sites now include enhanced search indexing, making it easier for your users to find specific topics.
  • Multi-repository consolidation logic: The system is now more efficient at building a shared context when you connect multiple repositories to a single documentation project.

Fixes

This release resolves the following issues:

  • GitHub OAuth connection stability: We fixed an issue where some private repository connections would intermittently fail during the authorization flow.
  • Sync job reliability: Resolved a bug that caused scheduled sync jobs to stall under specific repository configurations.
  • UI layout corrections: Fixed various alignment and display issues within the management dashboard.

Breaking changes

Please review these changes as they may require action on your part:

  • URL slug format changes: Slugs now strictly enforce lowercase alphanumeric characters and dashes. Existing slugs remain active, but any updates must follow the new format.
  • Authentication requirement updates: Access to certain advanced configuration settings now requires a verified email address associated with your Google account.
