Version 1.0.381 (July 2026)

This release introduces significant enhancements to the web application, advanced AI capabilities for premium tiers, and critical refinements to mileage tracking and report workflows.

New features

  • AI-powered receipt extraction: Users on Pro and Enterprise tiers now benefit from advanced AI that automatically extracts vendor names, amounts, dates, categories, and individual line items with high precision.
  • Email-based approval workflow: Managers can now review, approve, or reject expense reports directly from their email inbox. This process requires no account or app installation for the approver, streamlining the reimbursement cycle.
  • Direct web scanning: You can now scan and upload receipts directly through the web application, bringing the desktop experience to parity with the mobile capture workflow.

Web application enhancements

  • Mileage tracking in sidebar: The Mileage destination is now a first-class citizen in the web navigation menu, allowing you to manage trips and logs from your desktop.
  • Expanded search functionality: Search capabilities on the web now include notes, report titles, and specific currency amounts, making it easier to find historical data.
  • Vendor logo integration: The web expense list now displays recognized vendor logos, providing the same visual organization found in the mobile app.
  • Multi-select bulk actions: You can now select multiple expenses or reports on the web to perform bulk deletions or assignments.

Improvements

  • Enhanced GPS mileage filtering: We refined the GPS tracking logic to better reject “phantom mileage” caused by signal drift or inaccurate readings while stationary.
  • IRS 2025 mileage rates: Automated calculations now use the updated 2025 IRS standard rate of $0.70 per mile.
  • Adaptive vendor matching: The system now learns from your manual corrections over time, improving the accuracy of future vendor and category suggestions.
  • Optimized PDF generation: Report previews and sharing actions are now significantly faster, especially for reports containing a large number of receipt images.

Bug fixes

  • Email validation: Fixed a validation error that prevented users with long top-level domains (e.g., .software, .consulting) or plus-addressing (e.g., user+tag@gmail.com) from signing in or receiving resets.
  • Web CSV downloads: Resolved an issue where clicking the “Download CSV” button on certain web browsers resulted in no action.
  • PDF receipt display: Fixed a bug where manually uploaded PDF receipts appeared as generic icons on the web instead of viewable images.
  • Multi-workspace dashboard totals: Corrected a calculation error where dashboard totals occasionally included amounts from inactive workspaces.
