Release notes

Version 1.0.373

This release focuses on achieving full feature parity across web and mobile platforms while significantly enhancing the accuracy of our AI-driven automation. You can now manage your entire expense lifecycle—from GPS mileage tracking to professional report submission—from any device.

New features

  • Full web dashboard: You can now access the complete APSense experience, including mileage tracking and receipt scanning, directly from your web browser.
  • Email receipt ingestion: Forward your digital receipts to expenses@apsense.app. APSense automatically extracts the details and adds them to your account, notifying you when they are ready for review.
  • Multi-workspace support: Isolate your data by creating separate workspaces for personal use, specific clients, or different business entities.

Improvements

  • Cortexa AI accuracy: We’ve enhanced our extraction engine to provide higher precision when identifying vendors, dates, and total amounts on crumpled or faded receipts.
  • Smart mileage filtering: Improved GPS logic now more effectively filters out “phantom mileage” caused by signal drift while you are stationary.
  • Adaptive learning: The system now remembers your manual corrections. If you change a vendor name or category once, APSense applies those preferences to future receipts from that vendor.
  • Streamlined mobile permissions: Camera access prompts now appear exactly when needed during the first scan, creating a smoother onboarding experience.
  • Web performance: Enjoy faster initial load times and updated branding across the desktop and web interfaces.

Bug fixes

  • PDF export: Resolved an issue that caused “unable to share” errors when generating full PDF reports.
  • Multi-select assignment: Fixed a bug where selecting multiple expenses and assigning them to a report would occasionally fail to update the records.
  • GPS tracking: Corrected a UI issue where the “Stop Trip” button was hidden or inaccessible during active mileage tracking.
  • Mobile navigation: Fixed broken links within the hamburger menu that prevented switching between the Expenses and Reports screens.
  • Manual entry stability: Resolved a locale-related crash that occurred for some users when manually adding an expense.

Developer SDK updates

  • Vendor and attachment management: The apsense_dataconnect SDK includes updated methods for programmatically managing vendor profiles and expense attachments.
  • Enhanced type safety: We’ve improved the type definitions for report aggregation queries, ensuring more reliable data handling for integrators.
